They were Dudley Dudley (the only "pure" Dudley in that both of his parents had the same last name, Dudley), Big Dick Dudley (the menacing enforcer, spawned after Big Daddys affair with the Holland Tunnel) and Lil' Snot Dudley, the underdog. The original Dudley Boys debuted in ECW in 1995.

SPIKE DUDLEY INJURY MOVIE
The appearance of the Dudleys - taped glassed and unkempt hair - was based on that of the "Hanson brothers" from the 1977 movie Slap Shot. The fictional "Big Daddy Dudley" was named as the common father of each Dudley and the patriach of the Dudley clan. The gimmick behind the stable was that in the fictional ECW storylines, the Dudleys were all half-brothers, despite their obvious differences in physical appearance and even race.

The Dudley Family was a large professional wrestling stable that was created by Extreme Championship Wrestling. The Dudley Boyz were also part of the development of a match known as TLC (Tables, Ladders and Chairs) along with the Hardy Boyz (ladders) and Edge and Christian (chairs). The Dudley Boyz's claim to fame in the WWF (now WWE) is bringing the use of tables as weapons into the wrestling mainstream, often using there signature double-team move the 3D to put victims through a table. The Dudley Boyz's gimmick can be summed up in one word: tables. They were part of ECW's infamous Dudley Family until August 1999, when they joined the World Wrestling Federation. I was working an office, it was a temp somewhere in downtown San Francisco.

I got all these rejection letters from everywhere, but then I got a call, it was actually at work. At the time, it was WCW, and then at the time it was still WWF, and Japan, ECW, I sent them to everywhere. “I put together a videotape of highlights, and I sent them out to everybody. Spike also shared his experience of getting his start in the wrestling business and receiving a phone call from Taz to try out with ECW. And now today everything is so choreographed that, even if it’s a cool thing, it just doesn’t grab me anymore the way it used to.” I got into it pre-Kayfabe, you know, when Kayfabe was still in existence and, to me, it was an improvisational art form, make it up on the fly, and that was where the spontaneity and the magic happened.
